Welcome to Scattering

Hello! I’m Mark Taylor, a fiction writer based in Manchester in the UK.

In October 2024, I decided on a whim to write a tiny little story every day, and that was fun, so I kept going. Now, those stories live here on Scattering, along with a longer story each week.

You can sign up below to get a Sunday email with all the week's stories (and a daily email with each day's story, if you like). Daily stories are always free for everyone. The first weekly edition of each month is free, or you can read all of them for £2 a month/£20 a year.

We've got RSS feeds too, of course! Get the main feed here, or just the daily or weekly versions if you prefer.
